Overview

Creative writing transforms thoughts, emotions, and ideas into engaging stories. For younger learners (ages 4–10), the journey focuses on building vocabulary, inventing playful characters, and understanding the basic structure of a story through guided prompts and illustration-led writing. Middle learners (ages 11–14) dive deeper into world-building, developing distinct character voices, utilizing sensory imagery, and experimenting with genres like fantasy, mystery, and poetry. For advanced writers (ages 15–18), the curriculum matures into structural pacing, complex narrative perspectives, subtext, and the editing process, preparing them for literary submissions, screenwriting, or professional authorship.
