Overview

Robotics connects engineering with software development to solve real-world problems. For younger learners (ages 4–10), concepts are introduced using interactive block kits, legos, and visual logic, focusing on how simple machines move and respond to inputs. Intermediate learners (ages 11–14) transition into hardware assemblies, learning about sensors, circuit wiring, and basic microcontroller programming to guide robots through mazes and tasks. For advanced students (ages 15–18), the curriculum expands into mechanical design, electronics, and text-based coding (such as C++ or Python) to build complex autonomous robots, preparing them for future engineering and automation careers.

Learning outcomes

• Understand foundational mechanics, including gears, pulleys, linkages, and motors.
• Design, assemble, and wire functional electronic circuits and microcontrollers safely.
